We're at the end of a
country lane, a very peaceful, rural setting; yet it only takes
a few minutes to walk down to the harbour, shops and restaurants
(a few more minutes coming back as Tobermory is built on a hill!).
If you are arriving from the ferry at Craignure, turn right at the
roundabout onto Eas Brae (the main road down to Tobermory Harbour
and Main Street). Take the first turning on the right onto a small
lane. Again take the first turning on the right - just past an old
bothy and car workshop. The lane is narrow and passes through a
small very old woodland (full of blue bells in spring). You will
shortly come to a branch in the lane where you will see our house
Turn right at Beadoun Agri
(the bothy has now been renovated into a shop) and continue through
the old woodland until you see the sign for the house.
